Data64 Techno Solutions Pvt Ltd is incubated by Science & Technology Park, a STEP promoted by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Amongst several other achievements, Data64 officials have:

• Assisted the Government of India in - framing rules under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
• Authored and published several books of international repute including the Cyber Crime Investigation Manual. Times of India, the world’s largest selling English newspaper, referred to the Manual as a bible for cyber crime detectives.
• Handled over 7000 incidents of hacking and computer crime.
• Conducted training programs on Cyber Crime Investigation, Information Security and Hacking for senior Government and Police officials from several countries.

Science and Technology Park

The Science and Technology Park is one of the Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park (STEPs) set up in the year 1988 by University of Pune and promoted by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The Park acts as an interface to bring complete cohesion between the researchers & industry to work for mutual benefits and for benefit of the society at large. It works as the nodal agency to provide training and consultancy services to the various government, public and private sectors. It is also involved in giving need-based training to researchers, entrepreneurs and industries by using resources in terms of manpower and infrastructure of the university and various national and state institutions. The promotion of high-tech entrepreneurship based on indigenous knowledge is one of its prime objectives. It functions as a bridge between industries and academia.

The Park is playing significant role in Knowledge & Resource Management and mainly focuses on commercialising resources, managing innovations, managing Intellectual property, commercialisation of technologies, promotion of industry sponsored research and contract research and to build synergy between industries and academia.
